From a concept to reality – The Tesla Semi Truck has officially made its first trip in the USA. The Tesla Semi can reach 0-60mph in 5 seconds, and traveled ~250 miles carrying battery packs from Tesla’s factory to its Californian assembly plant. It’s safe to say the future of emobility is well and truly here!

No, not quite like a NIU Scooter! Push-scooter start-ups are flooding The USA at the moment. From Limebike to BIRD,  these app-driven push-scooters are surging in popularity, allowing riders to explore their cities in a fun, dynamic, and liberating way. What do you think?

 

  1. Taxi or E-Pedicab?

Speaking of new crazes, Austin, Texas is piloting a brand-new transportation service – the e-pedicab. Almost like a tuk-tuk, these e-mobility vehicles can travel to 15mph speed that uses a motor to help overcome road inclines, and help the drivers travel further and quicker.

By 2030, we will need to accommodate an extra 5 billion people. So… how do we solve this problem? Recent discussions have pointed to Da Vinci and his city designs inspired from the plague. Famous for the Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, Da Vinci’s designs may also fit into ideas to combat climate change and manage growths in population.
