With an estimated range of 180 kilometers in urban areas, the GTX scooter offers a wider range of uses than previous models. With a maximum speed of 100 km/h, this model allows more users to adopt an electric and connected line. The scooter can be plugged into any outlet and is recharged in six hours. The GTX will be available in France next September.

N-GT: Over 130 kilometers of range and a maximum speed of 80 km/h

Featuring a design similar to the N-Series scooter, the GT scooter offers more power than its younger brother. Its maximum speed is 80 km/h and has an estimated range of more than 130 kilometers. The scooter can be plugged into any outlet and is recharged in six hours.. The GT scooter will be available in Europe from September 2018.

“We have designed these two new models to meet the expectations of people looking for a more powerful and sustainable experience. The GTX and GT models have been designed for speed, endurance and power with an attractive design and faster acceleration,”said Token Hu, co-founder of NIU.

N-U Pro: 70 km range and a top speed of 45 km/h

The U Pro scooter was designed for urban use, ideal for everyday commuting. This vehicle has an estimated range of 70 kilometers. Its removable battery recharges in seven hours. The scooter reaches its maximum speed of 45 km/h in a few seconds. This model will be available in Europe from April 2018.

Project X – A Reimagined Smart eMoto Scooter | 120km/h + 160km range

Project X will add to the range of the NIU line of vehicles, extending the brand to the more powerful “moto scooter“ category, with a top speed of 120km/h and a range of up to 160km. The onboard telematics will run Android OS and feature an all-new touchscreen display. NIU will showcase their Ready for Production Concept vehicle at EICMA that will ship to Europe by Q4 2018.

“We are excited about Project X because it forced us to reimagine battery and motor design in order to meet the demands of speed and range, and we think we will convert a lot of skeptical petrol moto scooter riders to electric because of a smart price matched with this level of performance,” said Token Hu, co-founder of NIU.

An improved and connected driving experience

The company once again cooperate with trusted partners such as Bosch and Panasonic.

In addition, the “NIU E-Scooter” application, available on the App Store and Google Play, allows users to be connected permanently with their vehicle. With integrated GPS tracking, the application alerts the user to the battery level, malfunction or when unauthorized movement of the scooter occurs.
